Olive Crest in Nevada invites the community to Drop to Stop Child Abuse

Rappelers to descend 350 feet down the Augustus Tower at the iconic Caesars Palace to raise awareness and funds for child abuse prevention and education programs.

LAS VEGAS – This November Olive Crest in Nevada is inviting the Southern Nevada community to go Over the Edge by rappelling 350 feet down the Augustus Tower to support local child abuse prevention and education programs at the nonprofit’s Drop to Stop Child Abuse rappelling fundraiser, Nov. 3, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., at the iconic Caesars Palace.

Rappel experiences start at $1,000 and sponsorship packages start at $2,000. No climbing or rappel experience is necessary to participate. All rappel experiences and sponsorships include admission to the Dare to Care Zone Drop Zone, featuring the Liquid Courage Lounge, morning beverages from Grouchy Johns, food from Pizza Hut and entertainment throughout the day.

“Drop to Stop Child Abuse will bring our community together to build awareness for such an important cause,” said Myesha Wilson, executive director for Olive Crest in Nevada. “We’re grateful to our partners for supporting this event.”

Media are invited to attend a special Drop to Stop Preview Day Nov. 2, 2:30 – 5:30 p.m., where 10 local dignitaries, mascots and entertainment personalities will be the first to rappel over the edge.
