Olive Crest Announces Celebrity Rappelers for Drop to Stop Child Abuse Media Preview Day at Caesars Palace

LAS VEGAS – Olive Crest in Nevada announced a list of celebrities to go “over the edge” and rappel 350 feet down the side of the Augustus Tower at the iconic Caesars Palace during the nonprofit organization’s Drop to Stop Child Abuse media preview day, Friday, Nov. 3, from 1 – 4 p.m.

Celebrity rappelers will include Bristol Marunde, star of HGTV’s Flip or Flop Vegas, JJ Snyder, host of Channel 13’s The Morning Blend, Brittney & Sparks, hosts of KOMP 92.3 BS in the Morning, Johnny Kats, entertainment reporter for Las Vegas Review-Journal and Tape Face, America’s Got Talent finalist and star of Tape Face Las Vegas at the Flamingo Las Vegas.  Local leaders will also rappel at the media preview day, including Nevada State Senator Aaron Ford.

“We have an exciting and diverse group of celebrities and media personalities scheduled to rappel for media preview day,” said Myesha Wilson, executive director for Olive Crest in Nevada.  “We’re so grateful for their support as Drop to Stop Child Abuse will bring our community together to build awareness for such an important cause.”

The Drop to Stop Child Abuse main event will take place Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Extreme sports enthusiasts, corporate leaders, philanthropic-minded individuals, and members of the public will rappel to support child abuse prevention, treatment and education in the Las Vegas Valley. No climbing or rappel experience is necessary. 

Rappel experience packages start at $1,500 and sponsorship packages start at $2,500. All rappel experiences and sponsorships include admission to the Dare to Care Zone Drop Party featuring beverages provided by Southern Glaziers Wine and Spirits and Green Valley Grocery, food from Raising Canes and Pizza Hut, a DJ, entertainment, games, and more.
