Foundation for Positively Kids’ Lucky Duck Family Festival Raises Monies for Medically Fragile and Special Needs Children

Annual event features comedian and entertainment host Paul Scally

LAS VEGAS, NV – August 5, 2016 – Get lucky with ducky! Adopt a duck or a whole flock to support medically fragile and special needs children in Southern Nevada. All ducks come with a chance to win $250,000 and other great prizes. Foundation for Positively Kids celebrates the 16th annual Las Vegas Lucky Duck Family Festival on Sept.10, 2016, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Town Square Las Vegas. The SpecQuackular event is open to the public. Events throughout the day include family activities, dance-a-thon, children’s games, characters, nibble stations and free entertainment.

The Las Vegas Lucky Duck Family Festival features entertainment host Paul Scally of Grand Laughs Comedy Show. Attendees can adopt a duck $5, or a Quack Pack of six ducks for $25, for a chance to win a grand prize of $250,000 at the 3 p.m. duck pluck, where 5,000 rubber ducks will float in the pond at Town Square.

August 6th — OBON Festival and Bazaar at Clark High School opens at 10:00 a.m.
August 13 — The Quackie Dance Crew at Town Square Lawn from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
August 20 — Sam’s Club on Eastern and Serene from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
August 27 — Sam’s Club on Eastern and Serene from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

All event monies raised go towards programs including early intervention evaluations, screening and diagnosis for Autism, and direct patient care services for children.
