LAS VEGAS – Faith Lutheran’s Crusader Knight, an annual gala that provides students need-based tuition assistance, will be held Saturday, Nov.4, from 6-9 p.m., at the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Spa, 221 N. Rampart Blvd. The gala raises funds to help students without the economic means to afford a Christian education the opportunity to attend Faith Lutheran. Approximately $800,000 in tuition assistance will be distributed during the 2017 – 2018 academic year.

Crusader Knight is open to the public.  Individual tickets are $250 and sponsorship opportunities range from $2,500-$25,000.  Sponsorship packages include premium table seating, advertisements and recognition in promotional materials. Tickets can be purchased online at www.faithlutheranlv.org.  Sponsorship opportunities are available by calling 702.804.4410, and all donations are tax-deductible as provided by law.

The evening will feature a gourmet dinner, custom necklace raffle and a live auction, containing one-of-a-kind experiences and emceed by professional auctioneer Mike Kinney, who has provided emcee and auctioneer services for numerous charitable organizations throughout the Southwest United Sates.

Guests will be entertained with a special performance by Christian comedian Jeff Allen. Allen has performed comedy for three decades and has been seen on just about every cable show in the U.S. including Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and VH1’s Standup Spotlight. Allen’s one-hour special Happy Wife, Happy Life has aired on the Odyssey Channel and Family Net. Most of his humor centers on marriage and living with teenagers.

“One in six students at Faith Lutheran receives some type of financial aid or tuition assistance,” said Dr. Steve Buuck, CEO, Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School.  “Thanks to our Crusader Knight sponsors and attendees we are able to aid more families that would otherwise not be able to afford a Christian education.”

Long time Faith benefactors Pauline Collins and Harold Sells will be the recipients of the Heikotter Award, an honor bestowed annually on donors who have shown leadership and dedication to the school.
