Last Chance Before Romance Fundraiser
Dragon’s Den raises funds for The Keep a Breast Foundation’s education programs
SAN DIEGO – San Diego hipsters will have an opportunity to mix and mingle at the Dragon’s Den third annual Last Chance Before Romance charity fundraiser to benefit Keep a Breast Foundation (KAB) on Feb. 13 from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. at 1028 K St. in East Village. The event will raise funds for breast health education and prevention. Last Chance Before Romance is open to the public and includes specialty cocktails, complimentary appetizers, silent auction with amazing local donations, several local art displays, sculpture artists and more.
Single? No problem, there will be lots of eligible men and ladies in attendance ready to mingle. If you’re with your sweetheart, this is a great event to purchase local art or dare to bid on a variety of unique silent auction items while raising money for a good cause.
“This is our third year holding this event and everyone always has a fabulous time while increasing awareness about breast health and prevention,” said Michael Lou, founder and CEO of Dragon’s Den, a local Asian fusion restaurant that caters to urban residents in East Village and Gaslamp.
Since 2010, KAB has administered grants to organizations and individuals investigating breast cancer prevention, early detection, and breast health education. KAB supports investigations into lifestyle and environmental links to breast cancer, complementary care, and innovations in green chemistry. KAB’s mission is to make the world a cleaner, healthier and ultimately cancer-free place.
