Foundation for Positively Kids to Honor Local Community Leaders Kevin and Terri Janison at Vintage Vegas Gala

Proceeds to benefit medically fragile and special needs children in Southern Nevada

LAS VEGAS, NV – February 11, 2015 – Foundation for Positively Kids will honor Kevin and Terri Janison at their For the Love of Children gala at The Westgate Hotel, on March 5, 2016 starting at 5:30 p.m. The event will feature a three course gourmet dinner and champagne, both a live and silent auction, and a Key Raffle of Diamond Earrings donated by M.J. Christensen Diamonds. Entertainment will feature Travis Cloer, who performs as Frankie Valli in the Las Vegas production of Jersey Boys, and his big band, conducted by Mariano Longo.

Terri Janison’s strong interest in what is best for children guides her decisions on both a personal and professional level.  A child advocate for over 27 years, Mrs. Janison has worked in the private and public sectors on behalf of children. Mrs. Janison served on Governor Brian Sandoval’s senior staff in Community Relations and in the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.

Kevin Janison serves as the Lead Weather Anchor for KSNV-TV, MyNews3. He has held the National Weather Association Seal of Approval since 1985.  He gives over 100 school presentations to children each year; sharing his stories, the importance of reading, and taking the students on an interactive journey through the publishing process.
